Hi and welcome to Spudlicious MTG.
It’s just magic discussion and articles and a lot of rambling by some magic players I know. In the works at the moment is a series of Magic Tournaments run by Spudlicious, the first of which will be held in Geelong in 2013. The exact nature of these will soon be revealed but I can tell you that they’ll take the form of limited events with a final requiring qualification. This is still in the works but won’t be too far away from being announced.

Hi, not sure this comment should be here but i cant comment on the article im actually talking about.
Julian Gaylor’s article about GP Brisbane mentions me and actually has a story about a dice rolling incident that while may have happened to Julian it certainly didnt happen during our match. It’s possible he has it confused with the following match as they were both mirror matches where he went 2-1.
Im about the least confrontational person there is and my only interaction with a judge all weekend was when one of my opponents needed to use the bathroom. Julian and I actually had a good match and in game 3 he did beat me as he says when I misplayed by pumping my wurmcoil which he beast within’d in response and killed me on the following turn with his nexus.
Then we talked about the deck and how we hated the mirror and how when i attacked the turn where i misplayed he was praying that i’d misplay as it was his only out and I did and we said how a lot of players scoop prematurely when they should give their opponents a chance to screw up. I wished him all the best with the rest of the tournament and he did the same for me. There was certainly no animosity.
Im hoping he could edit his article to remove that story from being under our match as it does make me look like a dick and it’s certainly not something i would do.

Apologies man. It was a loooong weekend and some of the little details get blurred. I do remember our match. It was a good one. I’ll get onto adjusting it when i get home from work.
Now which doney to pin that tail on…
